The court cards have been entirely re-painted to depict Swordswomen from different cultures and time periods, each with varying weapons and styles of swordplay. Printed on premium vintage stock with a flawless legendary finish, this artful set of playing cards celebrates the incredible history of these little-known warriors. As an educational bonus, each deck includes a guide card with names for each Swordswoman to satiate your historical curiosity.

Crafted with Great Care

Our Artist would typically spend a two week period painting each portrait; this is only after our Historian had amassed enough period references to successfully guide the combining of all the elements (wardrobe, weapons, etc.). Half history and half imaginative art, these windows into the past do not disappoint. The actual printing of the cards had to match the exquisite art; these cards guide, spring and snap with the greatest of ease. Housed in an intricately decorated and embossed tuck box printed on thick paper, we are confident these are some of the most interesting and beautiful cards you will ever own.

Vanishing into History…

A Limited Edition, only 1000 decks of Swordswomen Playing Cards were printed, with the majority pre-sold by popular demand before printing even began. With only a few dozen left at the Academy for sale, we hope you' will consider adding some to your personal collection before they are gone for good.
